Doug:

I have been a long time listener and I wake up at 4am to your show and enjoy it very much. Thank you for giving me something to think about during the day.

John M

Hey Doug! You are the greatest! I used to look forward to getting up early in the morning to go to work, not because I loved my job, but to hear your show. Your laid back, level-headed style of talk radio was like a breath of fresh air. I remember one time you and your co-host started talking about vampires, and I couldn't stop laughing. Then for some reason my local station here in Birmingham, AL stopped carrying your program. I guess the ditto heads couldn't stand to have you on the same station as their beloved Rush Limbaugh. You are truly the anti-Rush, and I mean that in the best way possible. Thanks for the great show and the top notch website. I'm going to email the hell out of my local stations and try to get your program back on again.

Mr. Stephan,

Thanks for the Christopher Lowell's "You Can Do It Book." Also, I want you to know that my wife and I enjoy your "Good Day" program and find it entertaining and informative. Indeed, you help us to have a "Good Day." You have an even better day!

Dear Doug,

I just thought I would write to thank you for doing what you do on your show. Currently I am having a lot of difficulties with finances and life in general, but I get my once-a-day smile every morning while listening. I guess I just wanted to let you know that your show really helps people sometimes, and it has more of an impact than you may know. Thanks for the morning smile and laugh for one who really needs it.

Best Regards,
D.

Hey, Doug.

Thanks for this morning's GOOD NEWS - The statue of Liberty and NASA's Messenger. I live in Juarez, Mexico, and every morning on my way to work I tune in for your comments. Great show.

And yes, lots of people can complain about the good news, but I bet LOTS more of us are IN for the good news. Keep them coming!

Thanks!
Gerardo E.

Doug,

I just got a computer capable of audio streaming and finally heard your show for the first time in a long time. Long story short, glad you are still there, you are a beacon of hope in the vast sea of talkers with political axes to grind.

Hi Doug - love your show. I work nights and love to have your show on when I work. I have a lot of the same views that you do, but I also like it when you have guests on that are from the other side. You treat them and their views with respect. Just wanted to drop you a line and let you know how much I love your show, and I hope that your dad is doing better.

Doug,

So, any new news on the possibility of the Good Day program coming back to my station in Los Angeles? We have nothing but conservative talk radio out here - help!!!

Doug,

I very much like listening to you and all of your friends and I consider you all my link to the outside world. Glad to have Nancy back and Victoria is lovely, and stop being so mean to Roberta! Keep up the good work - I love your level of sanity.

Have a great day,

Regards to all

Dear Doug,

I heard your show for the first time on 7/25/04 on KXEL Waterloo radio and was very impressed. It was a breath of fresh air to finally hear a talk show host speak the truth about Bill O\u2019Reilly and others. At the same time you were more "fair and balanced" than Fox News pointing out the fact that Sandy Berger was lying through his teeth. I hope I can find your show more often as it is really Great. Thank you for sharing your talent.

Doug, I believe those numbers are correct. You may have resources to verify. Pls note the letter form a National Guardsman writing from Kuwait - the tip of the iceberg? Thanks for all you speak out for.

Dear Doug,

I have been listening to your show since 1999 on KTRC 1260 AM in Santa Fe, New Mexico. I find your show to be very intellectually stimulating. When you talk about word origins, guess the year, or do word jumble contests, you are inviting listeners in to learn something or participate.

Your show is just so different from other shows on the radio or even television. The format is a little like the Howard Stern or Don Imus show with multiple commentators kicking around a topic and then some callers calling in. But instead of you being a egomaniac like them, you come across as an average Joe. Plus Money's Mr. Biz, Nancy Skinner, Ellen Ratner, Victoria Jones, Chuck Curry are a line-up of top-notch professionals. Not some egocentric news anchor, blonde bimbo weather girl and over-cultured movie -review stiff that other shows feature. The interaction between you and the gang is upbeat and lively - it makes you very real - like the neighbors next door.

Sincerely,
William M

Just want to tell you as I'm sure many others do you have a great program, and I enjoy listening every time I can. The other morning you mentioned the old radio program " The Don McNeal (spelling ?) Breakfast Club". My mother listened to it every morning, and it brought back memories of listening to it while eating my breakfast and getting ready to leave for grammar school. I had forgotten about the program until you mentioned it.

Thanks again for your wonderful radio program.

Keep up the great work.

Doug;

Love your program - was impressed that you made the long trek all the way to Guam. M.I, for your broadcast earlier this year. Your program is so unique in that you have many of your staff located around the U.S. Mainland doing their duties and coming on line just at the appropriate time. Must take a lot of coordination. What is especially interesting to me is the fact that you broadcast from your farm many times. However, when you were traveling throughout the mainland and overseas and transmitting from a different place each week, it must have been very exhausting. Hope to hear you again in Honolulu.
