Taco Bell to test home delivery

Those late-night trips to Taco Bell may soon take you no further than your front door.

In part of an effort to keep Taco Bell near the top, the fast-food giant plans to up their product with the possibility of delivery happening sometime in 2015.

"We have to make sure we can give them an experience that's consistent with Taco Bell," Taco Bell CEO Brian Niccol said in an interview with Nation's Restaurant News. " We have to figure it out, and I can tell you right now we don't have it figured out."

He plans to test some form of delivery by later this year.

Niccol mentioned the main goal for Taco Bell is to be an "on-demand brand."
