The Science Behind Why Mosquitos Favor Certain People

According to new research, the amount of CO2 that a person gives off determines how attractive they are to mosquitos. Female mosquitos, who carry diseases like Zika, even have special receptors that let them sense CO2. People who are hyperactive, those who just finished working out and people who are larger, in both weight and height, are all targets for mosquitos because of their CO2 emissions. As for the blood type argument, mosquitos definitely prefer type O blood over the other types. Mosquitos also seem to prefer people who drink beer while some lucky people are born with natural odors that repel them.
