Thanksgiving is only about 60 days away, and if you have travel plans to visit family then you need to start looking and booking now.
If you are planning a seven-night getaway, then we think the worst days to travel will be the Saturday to Saturday before Thanksgiving and also Sunday, November 18 and returning Sunday, November 25. Traveling on these days for a seven-night getaways are going to cost you a small fortune.
We also think if you want to get away for a four-night stay and want to pay an arm and a leg, then travel on Wednesday, November 21 and return on Sunday, November 25, 2012. The one day that you will want to avoid like the plague, no matter what your departure date will be, is Sunday, November 25, 2012.
