Traci Lords - Stupidville
March 27 2013
TRACI ELIZABETH LORDS is a film actress, producer, film director, writer and singer. She first achieved notoriety for her underage appearances in pornographic videos and Penthouse magazine, later becoming a television and B-movie actress

TRACI, who grew up in Steubenville, was raped there as a 10 year old. When her autobiography came out a few years ago, which included mention of the event that would forever change the course of her life, she sat her mother down and told her what happened. Her mother responded, with full disclosure, "I was raped there as a child as well."

When the news broke from Ohio, it sickened Traci. She decided she couldn't stay silent any longer; she wrote a song which her record label just made into a music video.

Rachelle Spector - New Record: "PS I LOVE YOU"
March 21 2013
RACHELLE SPECTOR has always been an ambitious woman. She earned a music scholarship to Lenoir-Rhyne College in North Carolina. She eventually began performing at local clubs and singing the national anthem at sporting events.

In 2001, with $150 in her pocket, she packed her car and set out solo cross-country in pursuit of her dreams in Los Angeles.
She had some successes including being named Best Independent Pop Artist of the Year at the 2003 Los Angeles Music Awards.
Introduced by a mutual friend, the 23-year-old spent several hours in deep conversation with one of music's most renowned producers, Phil Spector. But, she had no idea who he was or that he would soon be indicted for a murder that dominated headlines for the next few years.
The pair married three years later and soon after, started working on Rachelle's debut CD, Out Of My Chelle. It was Phil's first record that he produced in more than 30 years. The album obtained millions of impressions world wide with all of the media attention, thus setting a solid platform for her current release, PS I Love You.
PS I LOVE YOU is essentially a love song from Rachelle to her husband. It depict two profoundly tragic moments of the producer's life, the deaths of his father and his son. Sounding reminiscent of Phil's hit song, To Know Him Is To Love Him. The song is a tribute to her husband.
She wanted to humanize Phil and show compassion to him as a person who has dealt with a tremendous amount of loss in his life, but was able to achieve so much.
She spends every possible minute she is allowed visiting with Phil either in person or by phone. "My husband is proud of me," she says emphatically, "and I plan on sticking by his side."

Patrick Fitzgerald - The Department of Justice Crusade Against Fed EX and UPS - Making Them FedUPS!
March 21 2013
PATRICK FITZGERLD is the key guru/spokesman for FedEx. From personal privacy to fair play to overzealous government prosecution to what IS the federal government doing about its "War on Drugs" and the Pandora's Box of what this might portend in other intrusions.
The Department of Justice is on a crusade to bring civil and possible criminal charges against several of the large air cargo/package delivery companies for, of all things, allegations of engaging in illegal drug distribution schemes.

Why? Some illegal drug shippers allegedly use FedEx or UPS or others to transport their drugs--and the allegations of the possibility that such companies' services may have been used is how the Government claims this as a part of the illegal drugs market.

This has been going on for some time and while UPS, for example, has decided to negotiate some stiff fines, FedEx has said the whole thing is crazy and is trying to fight back.

Will the United States Postal Service (USPS) be next in the line of fire for engaging in the illegal drugs trafficking business?

Ann Feldman - Film - WATER PRESSURES
March 15 2013
ANN FELDMAN has produced a variety of nationally and internationally syndicated television and radio programs, public events, and musical CDs. She is the Founder and Artistic Director of artistic circles, a nonprofit organization, which creates collaborative media projects to promote social change.
The idea for the film WATER PRESSURES started when ANN was trapped in a taxi cab on the way to the Bangalore, India airport in the middle of the Cauvery River water riot in January 2007.
In 2010, Northwestern University students and a video crew flew to India to meet villagers and learn about water scarcity firsthand.
In 2012, they created the hour-long Water Pressures documentary to showcase how villagers and water experts from water-scarce Rajasthan collaborated with students and faculty from Northwestern University, which sits on the shores of Lake Michigan in Illinois.
In the middle of this project, Ann was diagnosed with non hodgkins lymphoma. Suddenly she was fighting for her life, her health and the health of people on planet earth... For the right to have clean water.

WATER PRESSURES details the collaboration between the impoverished, water distressed community in Rajasthan, India and the students at Northwestern University, in Evanston, IL, whose campus sits on one of the largest bodies of fresh water in the world, Lake Michigan. The story demonstrates how understanding, education and collaboration can lead to solutions, particularly between developing and developed countries.

Over a four-year period, they filmed in both communities, organized and hosted water forums with legislative and industry leaders at Northwestern, and created and led an educational exchange between Rajasthan and Northwestern.
