Doug Stephan

Host

Doug Stephan began his career in radio as a deejay in the 1960s in Tiffin, Ohio and has worked as a talk radio show host in Los Angeles, Boston and other major markets in America. In addition to cohosting the Good Day radio program, Doug anchors several other shows and podcasts under the Good Day Network umbrella including “The Talk Radio Countdown Show,” “American Family Farmer,” and "Good Day Health.”

 

According to TALKERS magazine, Good Day Network has over 3 million listeners per week on over 300 stations. The Good Day radio show is listed as number 19 in the list of Top Talk Shows published by TALKERS. This is a list compiled from thousands of talk show hosts drawn upon a combination of hard and soft factors which include courage, effort, impact, longevity, potential, ratings, recognition, revenue, service, talent and uniqueness. Throughout his career, he has interviewed countless celebrities, politicians and personalities.

 

Among his extensive interests is agriculture – including operating a farm open to visitors where tours entertain families and cater to children. He lives in and broadcasts from Framingham, Massachusetts.

Jai Kershner

Co-Host

A second generation broadcaster, Jai Kershner has been part of the broadcast industry since 2001 - interning for The Brian and Joe Radio Show" on Cleveland's Mix 106.5 - and  having spent the last 10 years On-Air.

Prior to joining the Good Day radio program (FKA the DJV Show), Jai joined 5 Star Media’s The Beaver 100.3 FM morning show “Fletch & Jai in the Morning” as co-host in October 2017, quickly adding a Midday show on Q108 to her on-air duties.

Jai’s first On-Air gig was co-host for syndicated teen and young adult get-help radio programs “Dawson McAllister Live” and “Dawson McAllister Late Nights.” On-air at the time as Jessica McVay, Jai would offer her encouragement and kindness to those hurting, as well as invite others to share their stories of strength to offer hope and show there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

Before Jai jumped on-air, she spent most of her time behind the scenes as a digital marketing consultant, helping clients build their online strategies to connect with their fans & online following in an organic and lasting way.

Jai has been recognized for her work  by the Alliance of Women in Media’s Annual Gracie Awards – in 2016 for National Radio Co-Host (DMLive & DMLateNights) and for her self-created/produced National Public Service Announcement (The McVay Minute) . . . again in 2017 for the McVay Minute . . . in 2019 for Local Morning Show Co-Host . . . in 2022 for Co-Host Talk Radio . . . and in 2023 for Outstanding News Anchor.


Born and raised in Cleveland, OH, Jai recently found her way back to the Buckeye State after spending the last decade in Nashville, TN with her husband, son and dogter.

Jennifer Horn

Friday's Talk Radio Review Co-Host

Jennifer Horn grew up in the family radio business.  In high school, Jennifer started working for her dad at CRN Digital Talk Radio. Today she is the special Monday & Friday co-host of the nationally syndicated Good Day radio program and hosts her own morning show in Los Angeles.

After getting a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and Public Relations from California State University Northridge, Jennifer had the opportunity to take on fill-in host duties on CRN’s “PM Show.”  Soon after, she caught the ear of nationally syndicated morning host, Doug Stephan. After two on-air try outs, Jennifer joined the “Good Day” show, which evolved into the DJV Show before circling back to its roots as the Good Day program once again.

In addition to being a part of Good Day, Jennifer hosts “The Morning Answer” on Salem’s Los Angeles radio station The Answer AM 870 and AM 590.

​

She has been recognized for her achievements by some of the top organizations in the entertainment industry.  Jennifer was Women in Cable and Telecommunications “Woman to Watch” in 2001.  In 2011, Jennifer was named one of Southern California’s best radio personalities by LA Radio People.  In 2012, Radio Ink Magazine named Jennifer one of Radio’s Young Rising Stars. In 2022, the Alliance for Women in Media recognized Jen with a Gracie award for Co-Host Talk Radio, and in 2023 the LA Times announce Jennifer as the Best Local Radio/Podcast Personality.

Jennifer is also a voice over artist and has worked on several movies and commercials.  She enjoys volunteering for important charitable foundations and political campaigns.

James Collins

Board-Op

James Collins is a young radio broadcaster and producer based in Dallas, Texas. Whether it's mixing music, finding movie quotes, or delivering behind the scenes tech support, James is the man holding the ship afloat. 

 

After graduating from Arkansas Tech with his Bachelors in Journalism/Broadcast, he moved back to his hometown in Dallas to peruse radio further. He worked at a few radio stations along the way, but his first big job was with Doug and Jai, taking on the role of the board operator, and eventually producer, of the Good Day Show and all other affiliated Good Day Networks programs. 

 

He has found an affinity for his on air presence as well through the Good Day Show, and now appears occasionally on 93.3 WBAP as a News Anchor for the station.
