PICANTE FIRST
dougstephan.com

Before ladling (sic) on the barbeque sauce try first putting a coating of picante sauce (preferably hot) and letting the meat (chicken or steak) cook slightly and then adding the barbeque sauce (smokey bbq sauce works best). It's "AY CARAMBA!!!!!" delicious, and makes you feel like you're in the middle of the Chihuahuan desert straight out of a Sergio Leone spaghetti western.
