What Is Podcasting?
Podcasting is a great way to receive audio and video files over the Internet at no cost. Podcast feeds deliver audio/video broadcasts to your desktop where you can listen to these files on your computer or load them on to your portable multimedia player and take them with you.
To Get Started
Before you can subscribe to a podcast, you will need podcast software to keep track of your podcast subscriptions. Most podcast software, like iTunes, will automatically download new podcasts to your computer so you can load them onto your MP3 player at your convenience.

Most podcasting software providers will offer a list of available podcasts you can subscribe to, but you are not limited to this list.
Any podcast that you find on the Internet will typically have a podcast link identified by an orange button
that may be labeled XML or RSS.
You can right click this link to copy the URL of the podcast into your preferred podcast player.
For itunes, this is under the advanced menu where it says "Subscribe to podcast." Read the instructions for your podcast software to determine how to add a podcast from url.
