Teen makes graduation dress from old math homework
Teen makes graduation dress from old math homework
Jun-12-2012

Is it just us, or are teenagers getting more creative every day? Instead of simply buying a graduation dress, 17-year-old Canadian Kara Koskowich created hers from math homework.
The Lethbridge Collegiate Institute senior used 75 pieces of old math homework and neon Post-It notes to make a one-of-a-kind grad ensemble. The one-shouldered frock even has cute tiers and a slight peplum silhouette. How trendy! Also, her best friend, Dorothy Graham, wore a flouncy dress made from plastic bags. Clever!
Koskowich tells Canadian television station CBC:
"For me, it's not a big, spend your money, you have to look this nice, you have to fit into this mold of grad."
